Method Summary

void	validateJob(InputStream jobInputStream) Validate the provided xml job file, before the job is parsed by the scheduler If this validator does not validate against the xml file, leave the implementation empty.
TaskFlowJob	validateJob(TaskFlowJob job) Validate a job object after the job has been parsed by the scheduler.

validateJob

void validateJob(InputStream jobInputStream)
          throws JobValidationException

Validate the provided xml job file, before the job is parsed by the scheduler If this validator does not validate against the xml file, leave the implementation empty. Example of use: xml schema validation.

Parameters:

jobInputStream - job file content to validate

Throws:

JobValidationException - if the job is not valid

validateJob

TaskFlowJob validateJob(TaskFlowJob job)
                 throws JobValidationException

Validate a job object after the job has been parsed by the scheduler. Example of use: variable model validation.

Parameters:

job - job object to validate

Returns:

if the validator eventually made some modifications to the job, return a new version

Throws:

JobValidationException - if the job is not valid
